(Fictional brief)
Conceptual rebrand and refresh for Revlon.
In June 2022, Revlon filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States, obtaining US$3.3 billion worth of debt and experiencing supply chain issues (from CoVID-19 disruptions). Sales decreased due to the inability to keep up with the trends and values of a clear target audience against their competitors.
The rebrand will help promote and revitalise Revlon as a classy, trendy, and affordable cosmetic brand beloved by many. 
The client
In 1932, brothers Charles and Joseph Revson, alongside Charles Lachman, launched Revlon with a nail enamel. Not long after, collection of lipsticks to match the nail enamels were released and Revlon appeared on the cover of Vogue, quickly becoming, and remaining, an internationally beloved beauty brand.
In recent times, Revlon has been losing its audiences and experiencing sales difficulties.
The brief 
The rebrand required a PDF format style guide, and conceptual pieces for: a couple packaging examples, a website, social media presence (Instagram account), pop-up store window display, promotional posters, and goodie-bags for the pop-up store.
The packaging concept 
Consistency is key. Keeping the product packaging/labels similar across the current major collections gave the rebrand a newer, cleaner feel. But keeping the designs similar to what they have always been cements that welcoming familiarity for such a well-known and beloved beauty brand.
The pop-up store display
To 'relaunch' and promote themselves, Revlon is to open a temporary small pop-up store across various locations. This pop-up store required a creative and relevant window display to draw attention and celebrate the relaunch back into the industry as a defined beauty brand. 
The promotional poster
To be situated in the shopping centres where the pop-up store is to be as a way to advertise, inform, and promote the rebrand.
The online and social media presence 
A fresh website concept to go with the rebrand, as well as a template for the Instagram account.
